    Many people ignore the condition of their health as long as they don't feel the pain inside their body. And then as long as they can work normally then they keep ignoring symptoms. But the HPA advises having regular check-ups for keeping a healthy body.
   The 2017 survey of the Preventive Health Service for Adults with  400,000 correspondents aged 40 and older says that they are healthy and do not experience the so-called "3 high" high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, and high blood sugar.

21.3 percent of the correspondents were found out to have high blood pressure, while 8.8 percent are suffering from high blood sugar, and then 25.8 percent of them has high blood cholesterol.
   Chen Miao-Hsin of Chronic Disease Prevention official said it is important to be aware of our health, having regular check-up can prevent diseases.

  During 2017, they also surveyed with 2,304 correspondents aged 40  with no regular medical check-up for the past three years because according to them the medical check-up is not important, and besides they don't have time.

  The HPA Director-General Wang Ying Wei said that everyone's condition should be check by the doctor because some feelings are inaccurate. Regular check-ups are the best way to detect early signs of chronic diseases, for even just symptoms.

   Wang said" regular medical exams help to detect those risk to avoid unhealthy body, to have proper treatment, detect problems at an early stage. The exams items in the Preventive Health Service for Adults is for critical risk factors for chronic disease such as the cardiovascular liver and kidney disease and the physical health condition

  Chen encouraged the public to visit the hospitals and clinics that offer Preventive Health Service for Adult in Taiwan.

 Health is wealth prevention is better than cure.
