Taiwan Railways Administration partially suspend some of it's line as Typhoon Mitag buttering North and Northeast Taiwan


Taipe, Taiwan- As the Typhoon Mitag approaches Taiwan several flights has been cancelled due to extreme wind and rain. This afternoon the Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) had announced its temporary suspension in some of its route.

The TRA this morning announced that starting at 1:50 p.m. The northbound trains departing from Hsinchu to its western line will be temporarily suspended and on southbound trains the western line will also be stop operation at 2 p.m.

And for its eastern line, trains departing from Taipei bound for Hualien will also suspend itsboperations at 1:10 p.m., while the trains will departing from Taipei bound for Taitung will also be stop at 3:09 p.m.

Further announcement will be made tonight 8 pm whether the operation will be resume normally. The TRA will be monitoring the path of typhoon Mitag tonight before it's operation is set to normal.
