73 distressed OFW arrived in Philippines from UEA

October 19, 2019, The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Official and some member the OFW families were present to welcome their beloved member of the family.

  158 distressed workers from the United Arab Emirates were back in the Philippines. All OFW are victims of illegal recruiters. Paul Raymund Cortez said that these workers left the country with short term visas and promised by the recruiter to give them a working visa when they are there. The Department of Foreign Affairs warns the Public to stop using improper visas for working in another country because of their high tendency that you will be abuse in the other country. The DFA Records show that 4,800 Filipinos were deported to the country since January 2019.

  The Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Sarah Arriola said in a post on facebook that " We will not tire in our resolve to bring home our most vulnerable Kababayans.
