DOLE, publicly warned fake jobs posting are spreading on social media


The Department of Labor and Employment has warned the public about the spread of facebook pages that identify agencies offering jobs. According to the agency, the aforementioned pages offer jobs in Calabarzon and Mimaropa as well as Canada, Australia, Singapore, and London.

One complainant said he called the number that was indicated in the account and even identified it as a DOLE employee.  He charged him a reservation fee of 1,000 pesos and sent him to DOLE's Central Office in Intramuros.  But Arthur Villena, the person who spoke to the complainant, did not show up and when he called the number again he did not contact him.

Currently, Dole complained of the fake accounts on Facebook and the NBI. Dole advice is only enjoyed the jobs that governments endorse that Job hunting website such as Philjobnet.com. And for the work abroad it should be watch out the announcement of the Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) on their website  poea.gov.ph
