Nueva Ecija and Cavite were added in the list as infected areas with African Swine Fever Virus.

Department of Agriculture confirmed several areas in Nueva Ecija and Cavite has already hog diseases. The department advice the authorities to implement protocol to address the virus spread throughly in other areas. Although it does not affect humans, it could be a carrier to speed up the virus in spreading.

Cavite Gov Jonvic Remulla said that the virus might have spread in swill feeding which could have been contaminated. 

The provinces of Bulacan and Rizal were first case of swine flu sprouted are still under the custody and strict rules are being observed, and also in some parts of Quezon City. Other provinces and cities have already take precaution and ban the entry of ASF-hit product.
