Magnitude 5.9 earthquake hits the Province of Bukidnon

Bukidnon, Philippines (November 18, 2019)- Monday evening at exactly 9:22 pm a magnitude 5.9 earthquake hits Kadingilan, Bukidnon. According to PHIVOLCS

Tectonic origin was on West Kadingilan with a depth focus of 10 kilometers.

 The Science Research Assistant of PHIVOLCS Chris Vidad said on Super Radyo dzBB that the earthquake was the cause of shallow depth. According to him, the quake can damage buildings that are not in good condition.

 Intensity V was felt in Kidapawan while intensity IV for Cotabato City and Davao City.

 After the earthquake, there is no tsunami alert issued by PHILVOCS but expect aftershocks.
