Signal no. 2 raised in Cagayan Province as tropical storm "Ramon" closes Northern Luzon


Cagayan, Philippines- The tropical storm "Ramon" is moving overnight to northern Luzon. As of 10 pm, the typhoon was located at 220 kilometers of Casiguran, Aurora.

The storm is moving 15 kilometers per hour and with maximum sustained wind of 90 kilometers per hour and gustiness of 90 kilometers per hour.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal #2 is now in effect over most of Northeastern Luzon, while additional provinces are placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal #1

Tomorrow, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains may be experienced over Cagayan (including the Babuyan Islands), and Apayao. Light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains over Ilocos Norte, Abra, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Quirino, and Northern Aurora.

This evening the storm will be located 81 kilometer Northeast of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. And 75 kilometers of Aparri, Cagayan.
