More colder temperature to hit Taiwan, snow is expected on friday

Taipei, Taiwan (December 5, 2019)- For the weather update, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) has forecast that a cold air mass will be felt in Taiwan this coming Friday and it will be stronger than the cold air mass that comes out three days ago.  This is the second cold weather mass to hit Taiwan.

According to the CWB this cold air mass is expected to give mercury to the parts of north and central Taiwan. And also to the northeastern area at least 12 degrees celsius during the week.

The CWB said this was the lowest temperature observed that day by ground weather monitoring stations throughout Taiwan.

In addition, with northeasterly winds and a moisture system from south to northward, the CWB estimates that rainfall will come late Wednesday onwards.

Mountains that are 3,000 meters or higher will have a snow in the coming days, especially during Friday night to Saturday.
