A fountain of lava erupted in Taal Volcano early morning

A Lava fountain has erupted at the main crater of Taal Volcano as of 3:20 a.m. and continuously erupting ashes and several earthquakes have been recorded. According to PHIVOLCS.

Based on the report published by PHIVOLCS as of 3:20 a.m. of January 13, 2020. A total of 52 volcanic quakes had been recorded as of 12:49 a.m. And 26 of these ranges to intensity 2-4. And felt in the areas of Tagaytay City, Cabuyao, Laguna, Alitagtag, Talisay, and Bauan Batangas. According to Philvocs such seismic activity probably signifies continuous magma intrusion beneath the Taal edifice, which may lead to further eruptive activity.

And of 4:00 a.m there are 8 more intense quakes were felt in Laurel and  Agoncillo, Batangas with a range from 2 to 4.1 magnitude.

The classes in Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Pampanga, Bulacan has been suspended due to ashfall. Meanwhile, the Philippine government has issued a none working day in CALABARZON and Metro Manila.

Flights in Manila are temporarily suspended, with no incoming and outgoing flights until further notice according to MIAA General Manager Ed Monreal. And also Clark International Airport might be closed this morning due to the continuous fall of ashes. If any incoming International flights will be diverted to Cebu.
