Types of diseases that can be cured through breadfruit:

Scientific Name: Artocarpus altilis (Parkins) Fosb
Tagalog: Rimas
English: Breadfruit

Breadfruit is a common tree found easily in lowland areas of the Philippines. Its fruit is rounded, dull skin, white flesh, and without bone inside it is usually vegetable or sweet. The tall tree has broad leaves and is rich in resin.

Nutrients and chemicals that can be found in breadfruit:
*Whole plant - contains papayotin, enzyme and artocarpin.
*Leaves - contains tannins, phenolics, glycosides, saponins, steroids, terpenoids, and anthraquinones.
*Fruit - contains water, protein, carbohydrate, fat, calcium, phosphorus, iron, niacin, thiamine, and vitamin B & C.

 Diseases that can be cured breadfruit:
1.) Headache - can aggravate the skin of wood on the forehead and the senses to relieve headaches.
2.) Strain - strain from the trapped root can be wiped by a thick resin from the leaf leaf.
3.) High blood pressure - takes the juice of the leaf leaf to control blood pressure.
4.) Wounds - The treated skin of the rim can be rubbed on the wound to speed up recovery. 5.) Diabetes - dried lemon leaves can be minced and made into tea to drink and help the person with diabetes.
6.) Ear pain - resin and leaf extract seal the inside of the ear.
7.) Diarrhea - watering of the bark of the tree is given to the person suffering from dysinteria or diarrhea. You can also drink resin mixed with water to relieve itching.
