BREAKING: Taiwan's 24th case of Corona Virus Disease is from Northern Taiwan has no tavel history

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) of Taiwan has confirmed a new case of an infected patient with Corona Virus Disease from Northern Taiwan. According to the authority, the woman in her 60's has no travel history outside the country for nearly 2 years. And also the new patient has just stayed in their home and watches television and sometimes went out to watch sports events in the community. But the authorities have suspected that the classmate of her daughter might be the one who brings the illness since they have recent travel history to Hangzhou China.

According to the Health and Welfare Minister and head of the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC), Chen Shih-chung, the patient had shown fever and cough last January 22 and went for check up for four times from January 22-29. And last January 29, she complained of shortness of breath and had undergone an emergency as she was diagnosed with pneumonia and admitted last January 30.

Last February 10, she was transferred to ICU and had tested again her laboratory last February 17 and was transferred to the isolation ward and last night February 19, the CDC officials have confirmed that she is the 24th case in the country with Corona Virus Disease.
