Fourth OFW in Hong Kong tests positive for COVID-19



A Filipino domestic worker who arrived in Hong Kong on March 16 from the Philippines tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019, this is reported by the Center for Health Protection last March 26.

She is the fourth OFW confirmed positive of the virus. She is case no.412, and currently confined at the United Christian Hospital. She previously lived at Kwun Tong Disciplined Services Quarters, Tseung Kwan O Road, Lam Tin.

“She’s a new arrival, the domestic helper, after arriving, she lived in a boarding house,” CHP Communicable Disease Branch head, Dr. Chuang Shuk-kwan, said.

“We are doing tracing in that boarding house as well, we are trying to find out how many people stayed there, those will be regarded as close contacts, the domestic helper started to have a cough. Of course the employers will have to be quarantined as well.”
