Makati Medical Center will no longer accept COVID-19 patients


Makati Medical Center have already reached its maximum capacity to treat patients with coronavirus. They will no longer admitted cases in the hospital.

“After a thorough review of our bed capacity (particularly the Critical Care units), workforce availability, and supply of vital infection prevention equipment, and in consultation with our respective medical teams and the Management, we regret to inform you that Makati Medical Center has now reached full capacity,” MMC said in a statement.

University of Santo Tomas Hospital,  St. Luke's Hospital, The Medical City, and Makati Medical Center are the medical facilities that have been affected with the increased number of patients with COVID-19 that should be treated. These hospitals now reached full capacity.

The Philippines has so far recorded 552 COVID-19 cases including 35 deaths.
