Manila's COVID-19 cases climbs to 50, fatalities to 6

Manila Health Department showed the data regarding the total number of cases in their are, according to them there are already 50 confirmed cases as of Saturday and 6 deaths.

Meanwhile, there were 192 persons under investigation as of 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Local authorities are already conducting contact tracing to identify the persons who may have had contact with the COVID-19 cases.

Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso reminded residents to take the threat from COVID-19 seriously and to stay home.

On Saturday at 4 p.m., the Department of Health (DOH) said the country’s total COVID-cases reached 1,075 cases as more testing is being done. 

The death toll is at 68 while total recoveries numbered 35.

As of Saturday, the DOH has tested a total of 2,686 individuals. Of these, 920 have tested negative and 667 have pending results.
