Herbal Medicines: Mulberry tree



Mulberry is a tree of medium height and is known for its red or black fruit. The leaf is stout on the side and slightly rounded. In the Philippines, it is commonly found in the northern provinces of Cagayan and Batanes.

Mulberry nutrients and chemicals:
* Leaves - are available in calcium malate, calcium carbonate, pentosane, tannin, carotin, ash, as well as vitamin C and choline.
* Root - contains sterols, flavones, flavanone, stilbene, benzophenone, coumarin derivatives, and succinic acid.
* Fruits - are available in fat, urease, pectin, citrates, and malates.
* Plants - The plant contains substances such as tannins, phytosterol, sulfur, oils, and saponins.

Diseases that can be treated with moras:
1.) Fever - the bark of the tree is used to relieve a high fever.
2.) Epilepsy - Consumption of epilepsy can be helpful for the condition of epilepsy.
3.) Headaches - leaf lacquer can be used as a remedy for headaches.
4.) Diabetes - the fruit of moras is eaten to help with diabetes.
5.) Dehydration - Drink the dried fruit of the moras to help with constipation.
6.) Breastfeeding - eating low moras leaves can help boost breast milk.
7.) Rheumatism - plant stalks are often cultivated and watered to the person suffering from joint pain.
8.) Wounds - The tightened leaves are treated with a wound to help it recover faster.
