Herbal Remedies: Tea Wars



A forest tea is a small plant with tough branches and leaves that are gathered when grown. Fruit small and round-shaped and red when ripe. It grows mainly in the North-Central Provinces, particularly the Batanes islands. Its leaves are usually made of tea.

Nutrients and chemicals that can be obtained in forest tea:
*Leaf - contains triterpenes, namely a-amyrin, b-amyrin, and baurenol.
*Plants - contain alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, tannins, terpenoids, and saponins.

Diseases that can be treated with jungle tea:
1.)Diabetes - should be taken regularly with the tea leaves and roots of jungle tea to control blood sugar levels in diabetic.
2.)Cough - Drinking tea from this plant will help to stop coughing.
3.)Diarrhea - Drinking tea with tea tree tea is also effective for diarrhea. Fresh leaves can be minced and then rinsed with boiling water, making it 2 to 3 times a day to eliminate the symptoms of diarrhea.
4.)Poisoning from the plant - the person poisoned by the plant can be watered by the roots of the forest tea.
5.)Gastrointestinal disease - Regular consumption of jungle tea is a great antidote to chronic conditions.
